Quality and Compliance
Secure, but accessible, data
the power of the cloud
Elemental Machines cloud-based data archival system securely manages all of your scientific and operational data. Access your data directly via APIs or the Elemental Insights Dashboard
Automated Data Collection
The Elemental Machines Data Storage and Archival System streamlines data collection from your instruments and facility using IoT-equipped Elements. By automating data collection into a secure cloud-based repository, your organization can share data seamlessly across teams and integrate data via APIs into 3rd party applications such as Slack and Splunk.
Improved Regulatory Compliance
Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ)
Elemental Machines has created an IQ/OQ procedure for those customers who must comply. IQ/OQ is a checklist of steps used to install and check the performance of our sensors and software platform. IQ/OQ ensures that all steps are followed. Training and documentation is also available on request.
Data Archival Options
Data storage and retrieval options can often pit security versus access. A paper logbook locked in a filing cabinet might represent the most secure option, but it’s not particularly useful for people who don’t have access to it. Charts from chart recorders suffer from the same issues. Data loggers can make data accessible to more people in your organization, but the storage capability is limited, meaning the data must be downloaded frequently and the memory of the device must be cleared to make room for new data.
The ideal solution in terms of security and availability is to use cloud-connected IoT sensors. They run 24/7, constantly streaming time-stamped data to the Cloud. The data storage capability is essentially unlimited. Access to the data can be shared among team members, while remaining securely stored in the cloud. Log in access can be restricted by user and user role.
In this way, data can be made available to the appropriate people across your organization, from operations managers to R&D scientists to quality and compliance managers.
